Does ClearPass supports SNMP Version 3 traps?

Prior to CPPM version 6.6.2, ClearPass supported only SNMP v1 and v2 traps. This is a recent feature added in 6.6.2 release.

How to configure?

From WebUI - Navigate to Administration > External Servers > SNMP Trap Receivers and click on "Add".

We can also configure Engine ID for SNMP V3.

Navigate to Administration > Server Manager > Server Configuration > [SERVER] > System Monitoring and change it as per requirements.

The default value is - 6620000004030662
