Question: Does Clearpass have the ability to proxy RADIUS Accounting events?

Clearpass Policy Manager currently does not have the ability to proxy RADIUS Accounting events received from the NAD to external servers until CPPM Code version 6.4.

However starting from Clearpass Version 6.5, we are adding support in CPPM to proxy the RADIUS Accounting events to 3^rd party firewall Devices like Checkpoint, Fortinet.

While proxying the Accounting packets, CPPM will have options to configure/set VSA attributes in the RADIUS Accounting packets to these Devices, so that Fortinet/CheckPoint could have the equivalent of "derivation rules" to influence the assigned role.
