Dot1.x authentication on CPPM against LDAP fails

Environment : This applies to all the versions of CPPM

 

Issue : I am unable to authenticate my LDAP users via Dot1X

 

Solution : Even if CPPM is joined to the LDAP domain, Dot1X authentication will fail because LDAP does not support EAP-PEAP with MSCHAPv2 protocol.

The only way to make it working is to use MSCHAP protocol as authentication method in the service defined on CPPM.
