As a network administrator, i want to have an option to change/modify ClearPass Admin Session Idle Timeout value. This article explain about the same.
In ClearPass 6.5.0 a new cluster-wide parameter, Admin Session Idle Timeout, allows administrators to configure the maximum idle time permitted for a session before it times out.
To use this feature, navigate to CPPM > Administration > Server Manager > Server Configuration > Cluster-Wide Parameters > General tab. Scroll to the Admin Session Idle Timeout row and enter the number of minutes to allow before timeout. The default value is 30 minutes.
After changing the settings, we found that ClearPass admin session only timed out post the value set on ClearPass.
