Q:

How do i reset admin password for GUI of CPPM? I can login to CLI using the appadmin user.

A:

From 6.6.0 onwards, CPPM has added a new command to reset the admin password from appadmin login.

Login ot CPPM's CLI using appadmin user and run the below command.

[appadmin@quamruz]# system admin-passwd-reset

Policy Manager 'admin' account password reset to default factory setting

You will get a confirmation about the same . The default password is "eTIPS123".

On version prior to 6.6.0, TAC can assist to reset the credentials for recovery shell.

On all CPPM versions, TAC can help to recover  WEBUI and CLI password.
