Reset application access control from ClearPass CLI

Sep 28, 2015 04:25 PM

Q:

As a network admin, you denied access to ClearPass management access to specific subnet/s. By accident, if you locked access to Policy Manager management login for a wrong subnet (your own), then how to reset the ACL?

A:

In order to get the GUI access to ClearPass Policy manager (management access), we need to reset the ACLs via ClearPass CLI.

We need to access the ClearPass server as "appadmin" and type the following command:

[appadmin@Aj-CPPM]# system apps-access-reset

This will reset all the ACLs set on the ClearPass server and will allow you to access the GUI again.
