I see the below error in the Event Viewer logs of CPPM

Updates,Action=Failure,Description=Failed to update AV/AS from ClearPass Portal (Online)
This applies to all versions of CPPM
The above error means that there was an error while downloading the AV/AS ( Anti-Virus/ Anti-Spyware) Updates.
The ClearPass policy manager usually fetches AV/AS updates every hour from external server. The above error indicates the network failure during fetching time or external server not reachable at that moment.
You can check all updates from CPPM event viewer (Monitoring->Event viewer) and collect logs if you see this error continuously occurs from event viewer.
You can also trigger updates manually from Administration->Software Update portal-> Import updates, if you want to get updates instantly.
