Will force change password on next TACACS+ login for Local Accounts work for ClearPass management Login?

Q:

In CPPM 6.6 there is a new checkbox when we add a local user account, which enables user to change the password on next  TACACS+ login. Is it applicable for ClearPass Management TACACS authentication?



A:

No, it is not applicable for ClearPass admin user authentication. This option is only be applicable for external devices TACACS+ logins (eg: Cisco Switch CLI access).
