Summary
The Aruba built-in command line (CLI) setup dialog will prompt users to answer a set of questions to configure the basic options on your controller. You can start the Initial Setup dialog when you connect a terminal, PC or workstation running a terminal emulation program to the serial port on the controller. The serial port connection only allows you to configure the basic configuration required to connect the controller to the network.
The solution complements the initial setup dialog by allowing the user to configure the uplink port, NTP, licenses, VLAN, Airwave integration and IP pool for the Remote Access Point (RAP). When using the Aruba Solution Exchange (ASE), only relevant questions need to be answered.
Configuration Notes
When configuring an NTP server, you can click on the "Action" button to view the drop down menu and use the default values for the selected time zone.
