Add 3810 switch to Airwave for monitoring

Hi Forum,

I tried to add Airwave as an SNMP server with a community string and that did not work, device shows down in AMP.

I tried (from the HPE OS user guide) >> amp-server ip 172.16.185.23 group 2530 folder 2530 secret secret but that look like what you would use for zero touch provisioning with AMP. it also did not work for me.

any advice is appreciate.

You need to confige a SNMP read string on the HPE switch and then put that into airwave.  That is all that you should need.  The amp-server command is something additional, but not is what is necessary.

snmp-server community "public"
