Defect with a stig module (GEN000920.pm) as a result of some changes made to address XSS/CSRF issues

Question : Unable to Login to Web UI after running STIG. Gives Login Failure Message.

 

Cause : The permissions on the /root directory from the default 0751 to 0700.

 

Resolution :

The easy workaround/resolution on your end is to change the permissions on the /root directory back to 0751 (chmod 0751 /root).
