Do Aruba controllers collect the probe requests from clients to track their location?

Product and Software: This article applies to all ArubaOS versions.

If you can determine the AP that a client device is associated with, you can locate that client device. Client devices that only send probe requests and do not associate cannot be located.

Beacons from non Aruba APs are captured for location tracking purpose.
