Controller Based WLANs

There is configuration on Aruba controller to map DSCP-to-WMM. This mapping defines what WMM-AC priority should be assigned for VO/VI/BE/BK DSCP values. If there is no DSCP-WMM mapping defined on the controller, default DSCP-WMM mapping will take effect. If your network uses DSCP values other than Aruba defaults, then you can configure with your custom DSCP values on the controller. The following screen capture shows how to configure DSCP-WMM values on the controller.

The controller makes sure the egress packets leave the controller with correct DSCP tag and WMM priority
