Product and Software: This article applies to remote APs and mesh points with ArubaOS 3.3.1.0 and later. RAP-5WN or RAP-2WG are not included.

First, get the console of the AP, reboot the AP, stop the boot process, and get into the apboot> prompt.

To erase the mesh configuration, issue this command:

apboot> flash erase 0xbfc40000 0xbfc5ffff

To erase the remote AP configuration, issue this command:

apboot> flash erase 0xbfc60000 0xbfc6ffff

To erase the mesh configuration, issue this command:

apboot> erase 0xbfb20000 0xbfb3ffff

After you issue the command and boot the AP, it can be reprovisioned by the Aruba controller.
