Controller Based WLANs

How to backup and restore the config file of mobility master ?
Q:

In case you want to reinstall the MM instance and does not want to lose any configuration done we can use this option

A:

We can backup only the config and hierarchy(not flashbackup) using "backup config" and restore the config hierarchy and the config on MM using "restore config"
This is similar to copying the config file in 6.x platform .

(MM) [mynode] #backup config
Please wait while we take the config backup.......
File configbackup.tar.gz created successfully on flash.
Please copy it out of the controller and delete it when done.

After setting up the MM instance again, copy the configbackup.tar.gz file onto the MMs flash. Then proceed to the following

(MM) [mynode] #restore config
Please wait while we restore the config backup........
Config restored successfully.
Please reload (reboot) the controller for the new config to take effect.
