Key points to remember before configuring clustering feature in AOS: 8.x



A:
  1. The Clustering feature and the HA AP Fast Failover feature are mutually exclusive.
  2. Cluster members are required to run the same ArubaOS version.
  3. When the cluster is terminating Remote APs (RAPs), the size of the cluster is reduced to 4.
  4. A mix of hardware (7xxx) and x86 Mobility Controllers in the same cluster is NOT supported
  5. A mix of 72xx and 70xx Mobility Controllers in the same cluster is not recommended.
