Q: Why does the locate tab not function post upgrade to 6.4.3.x ?
A: On the webUI, navigate to Dashboard --> Security --> Discovered APs and Clients. If we click on either rogue AP, suspected rogue or interfering APs and select one of the BSSID followed by clicking on locate button. A pop up window appears and displays "no matches found". This is only noticed after upgrading to 6.4.3.x and prior to this all versions would display the access point which has located the device.
In 6.4.3 WMS, we have disabled the writing of location data to the database. It is disabled by default, and can be enabled by toggling the stat-update parameter in the IDS WMS General profile.
