Question : Why do we get error as 'User should be created before adding to the trap to the host'
Environment Information : SNMP v3 Users must be added before adding SNMP v3 Trap Receiver.
Symptoms : Even though the SNMP v3 User is already added and still unable to add SNMP v3 Trap Receiver and get the following error.
Error: User must be created before adding to the trap host.
Cause : The error was caused because the SNMP user might have added without Authentication Protocol and Privacy Protocol passwords.
Either already added user can edited or a new user can be created with the Authentication Protocol and Privacy Protocol passwords.
Resolution : Once the SNMP v3 User is added with proper password, SNMP v3 Trap can be added successfully.
