Controller Based WLANs

Question:  What are the limitations of the internal AP in the 651 controller?

Product and Software: This article applies to Aruba 651 Controllers and ArubaOS 3.4.x and later.

The internal AP in the 651 controller can be brought up in two modes:

· campus AP

· mesh portal

The internal AP cannot be brought up as a mesh point or a remote AP.

Also, each time you make a configuration change to the ap-group that the internal AP belongs to, you must reboot the whole 651 controller.
