Question: What are the list of port numbers used for Microsoft Lync communications between Client and Server?

Environment: This Article applies to Aruba Controllers running ArubaOS version 6.3 and above.

Following ports are used for Lync communication between client and server

TCP 53 – Lync DNS query

TCP 5061 – Lync clients inside a corporate network

TCP 5063 - Used for incoming SIP requests for Audio/Video conferencing.

TCP 443 – Used by Lync clients outside a corporate network – or all Lync Online clients
