Q:

What is AP general-profile and how to enable it?

A:
AP database information which includes the state of an AP can be synchronized between the master and local controllers by enabling the periodic synchronization as below. We can configure the sync interval from 5 minutes to 24 hours as well. By default the below feature is enabled.

(ArubaMaster) #
(ArubaMaster) #configure terminal
Enter Configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z

(ArubaMaster) (config) #ap general-profile
(ArubaMaster) (ap general-profile) #periodic-sync
(ArubaMaster) (ap general-profile) #sync-interval 5
(ArubaMaster) (ap general-profile) #!
(ArubaMaster) (config) #
(ArubaMaster) #

(ArubaMaster) #show ap general-profile
