By default, the transmit power for mesh nodes is set to maximum, which is 30 dBm. This default is different from the default transmit power for virtual AP, which is 15 dBm.
If you have two mesh APs in a very short distance, you may want to reduce the transmit power so that the RF receiver on its mesh peer is not saturated. You can change the transmit power in mesh-radio-profile.
