Product and Software: This article applies to all controllers running RN code series.
The provisioning profile consists of the settings that will be pushed to an AP when the AP comes up on the controller. These settings are the same as those that were present in the regular ArubaOS codes under the GUI > AP Installation provisioning section of an AP.
In the RN code, the provisioning profile consists of the following parameters:Remote-AP Whether the AP would have to be a RAPMaster IP/FQDN What is the Master IP for this APDomain Name Domain name (optional)PPPOE User Name What should be the username for L2TPPPPOE Password What should be the password for L2TPRetype:PPPOE Service Name Service Provider name (optional)USB User Name If 3G, what is the usernameUSB Password If 3G, what is the passwordRetype:USB Device Type If 3G, what is the Model of the 3GUSB Device Identifier If 3G, what is the Device IDUSB Dial String If 3G, what is the Dial in pass keyUSB Initialization StringUSB TTY device pathNote: Passwords always appear as '*' when provisioning from the GUI. Take care when you provision, because if the APs have the wrong details, they become inaccessible, because they cannot contact the Aruba controller.
