Why the shielding job is still active even after the station has disconnected?

Jul 05, 2014 05:48 AM

Product and Software: This article applies to RFprotect Distributed 6.6 and later.

If a station is to be shielded according to policy, it will be shielded until the policy is changed or until the station is changed to no longer violate the policy. If the station disappears before either of these things happens, then a shielding job remains until the station can be seen to no longer be violating policy.

The shielding job remains until either the engine is restarted or RFprotect sees the device is no longer violating the policy. A shielding job for a station that no longer exists is harmless, because the sensors have nothing to do about it.
