Controller-less WLANs

Environment : This article applies to all the IAPs running 6.2.0.0_3.2.0

Yes we can boot up an IAP without an actual physical uplink. This is a new feature added in OS version 6.2.0.0_3.2.0. Any version prior to this does not have this capability. 

This feature is typically deployed in standalone mode, where user want to establish a spectrum monitor. The spectrum data can be collected by connecting a PC to a downlink Ethernet port.
