How do I access console of an Instant AP from Aruba Central cloud portal?

Environment : This articles applies to Instant AP clusters being managed via Aruba Central cloud solution.

 

 

Aruba Central has the ability to access the local CLI of the IAP's virtual controller via the Aruba Central cloud platform.  This brings advanced troubleshooting tools to the cloud that would otherwise require a console cable into the local IAP.
 

 

Follow these to access the console of an Instant AP:

1. Login to Aruba Central and click on the menu icon beside "All Groups" and select the group in which you have IAP to be consoled:

(As you see below, I have logged in and currently into default group)

2. From the side menu, click on "Access Points" and from the list,  select the AP :
3. Now, click on the "Console Access" button to console into AP.

NOTE: It would take a few moments to build the backend connectivity and show up the console window.
