Chromecast is a thumb-sized media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV. Set it up with a simple mobile app, then send your favorite online shows, movies, music and more to your TV using your Laptop, smartphone and tablet
Chromecast offers two methods to stream content to a television. The first employs Chromecast-enabled mobile apps and web apps; second can mirror most content displayed by the web browser Google Chrome running on a personal computer, as well as content displayed on some Android devices.
Chromecast is supported with the following operating systems, although some of its features may work with slightly older OS’s in a few cases:
Android Gingerbread 2.3 or higher.
