Upper limit for adding airgroup service-id strings

Jul 06, 2015 08:13 AM

Q:

What is the upper limit for adding airgroup service-id strings?

A:

Controller might be blocking certain airgroup services based on the Airgroup configuration. If WLAN administrator wish to allow few blocked services per his network requirement, he could create a new service name and add the blocked service id(s) to the list. Until 4.1.1.2, airgroup service id exceeding 32 strings/characters cannot be added. Starting 4.1.1.3 and 4.1.2.0, upto 128 strings/characters are supported.

To add airgroup service id:

IAP(config)# airgroupservice SONOS
IAP(Config-SONOS)#enable
IAP(Config-SONOS)# id "urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:ZonePlayer:1"
Commit apply.
