When content filtering is enabled on IAPs, what would happen to my DNS traffic?

Jun 29, 2014 02:56 PM

Content Filtering is based on per SSID, and up to four domain names can be configured manually. When enabled, all DNS requests to non-corporate domains on this wireless network are sent to the open DNS server. Also, regardless of whether content filtering is disabled or enabled, instant.arubanetworks.com is always resolved internally on Instant.

Content filtering on the wired port of an IAP is now possible with Instant OS version 6.2.0.0_3.2.0.

This article applies to all the IAP running 6.1.3.4_3.1.0 and 6.2.0.0_3.2.0.
