    Hi all,

I seem to remember that some makes/models of access points used to have to have manual changes made to their configurations to support horizontal positioning instead of vertical.

Is this the case with Aruba IAP-105 access points, and if so, where are the settings?

There are no settings for horizontal v. vertical mounting.  That being said, the IAP-105 does have a downtilt bias and is better suited for ceiling mounting.  Take a look at the AP-105 spec sheet for the antenna pattern.

With that in mind, when wall-mounting, is the IAP-104 and external antennas preferable?
