Does LDAP Work Yet?

I know in the release notes of AirWave 7.7.x it says that LDAP is suppose to work now.  We seem to still have issues with trying to get Window boxes to connect though. Has anyone had success using LDAP and not Radius?

Can you please paste in the passage about LDAP?  LDAP has worked, but the implementation is very restrictive.  In the LDAP setup you have to put in the LDAP attribute which has the Airwave admin role that the user will have when he authenticates.  If that attribute is not present, or if it does not contain a value that has a role that is configured in Airwave, it will reject the user.  This forces you to create an attribute in AD and insert a value that contains an AMP role.  For most administrators, that is not possible.  IMHO, Radius should be used, instead...
