How to check configuration status for IAPs?

    Hello all,

On several occasions I've encountered difficulties where I'll apply a configuration change but it doesn't take effect.  Rebooting the IAPs may resolve the issue and cause the configuration to be applied.  Or the reboot may cause the IAPs to revert to a previous configuration.  It's difficult to troubleshoot an issue when you're not sure of what the IAP is actually using for a configuration.

Is there a command to determine the synchronization status of the configuration across all IAPs?  I'm running 6.4.2.3 (since the IAP-103s aren't support for GA - Current).

    Thanks.

With this command you can see the changes have not been applied (committed):

    IAP-1# show uncommitted-config

And with this one you can see everything has been saved (committed) :

    IAP-1# show configuration

You can also take a look at the config ID :

    IAP-1# show aps

Are you using Airwave or Aruba Central for management or are you using the local management on Instant?
