IAP-103 VC with web categorization

    Hi Folks,

     

    A customer is using a few IAP-103 with the integrated web categorization.

    Unfortunately it's not working how I expected. I checked the proxy and firewall settings and everything should be ok now.

     

    Which service are the IAP-103 using for web-categorization? Is it OpenDNS or Brightcloud? I don't have an OpenDNS account configured in the IAP.

     

    When I have a web-category rule running, the clients can't open any webpage. First  it looked like the AP can't connect to Brightcloud, but now I'm not sure anymore.

    Is it a problem with the connection to the cloud or could it be a subscription problem?

     

    Any ideas on this? Do I need a active subscription for one of these? The pricelist and datasheet isn't telling very much about it.

    Version is 6.4.3.4

    It needs to be able to reach aruba.brightcloud.com using port 443

    No subscription needed
