    hy all,

we are looking at replacing our IAP-93 to brand new IAP-103.

instead of replacing them all, we would do it step by step.

So i was wondering if i can deploy an IAP-103 et manage all others IAP-93 that i already have ?

Thanks a lot for your advices :)

    Cheers!

yes you can.  Just ensure the 103 is on the same firmware version as the 93 before you plug them into the network

    fast answer !!

    Thanks a lot !

do you mean that if i wan't to manage my IAP-93 i should not update my IAP-103 to a firmware not available to the IAP-93 ?

    regards,

correct, they all need to be on the same firmware.  You should only update to a firmware that is available for the 93 also, if you want to manage them in the same cluster.

At this moment, the only firmware that supports both IAP-103 and IAP-93 is version 4.1.0.1 (6.4.0.3-4.1.0.1_45063).

Make sure that you have both the IAP-103's and the IAP-93's on that version or newer. You will need to use the manual upgrade procedure (download from support website, and upload to the IAP under maintenance-firmware) as this version is not yet available in the cloud.
