    Bought a couple of IAP's for a remote site that is in need of a mesh link. However when booted up the AP's, pwr is green and channel lights are red/amber.

     

    I have connected antennas, but it seems like there is no default configuration for the instant network (used for configuring).

     

    I have made a purgeenv -> saveenv -> reset. But still the same result.

     

    Had a similar problem with some IAP-92 the other day where the instant network was broadcasting but there the web server did not respond. A purgeenv did help then. But now I am stuck.

    As a first step - have you provided the IAPs with a DHCP address and are they all connected on the same subnet?

    use factory_reset to reset to factory defaults.

    As MattF pointed out, are they connected to a DHCP server? They won't broadcast 'instant' unless the IAP receives a DHCP IP.

    If it is still not working, assign an IP address to it by stopping the boot sequence and attempt to load the WebUI by IP to configure the IAP.

    I have seen this behavior when the IAP doesn't have an IP address

     

    Please confirm that the IAP has an IP address .

     

    From console try to ping the gateway
