IAP-277 point-to-point bridge configuration

I need configuration examples of this solution and can not find, can anyone help me?

Re: IAP-277 point-to-point bridge configuration

What you need to do is the following:
- Have both IAPs connected on the same VLAN so they can build a cluster.
- Once the cluster is build you should be able to disconnect the IAP you are planning to use as the Mesh point.
- If you only provide power to that IAP (NO NETWORK) then it should be able to build a mesh link automatically if the mesh point is able to build the link with the Mesh portal (IAP with Network connectivity)
Thank you

The above is correct. The antenna is wide enough that eye-balling the alignment should be fine. The Instant userguide also has steps on creating an instant mesh cluster.

ccarrico,

The only thing not mentioned is that you would have to turn off (disable)  "Extended SSID" in the cluster before you remove the second Mesh AP http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-less-WLANs/Aruba-Instant-4-1-Mesh-Configuration/ta-p/214943
