We are planning to deploy 305 IAPs in China, part number JX946A, which are on the China domain. We will also be deploying 305 IAPs in the US, part number JX945A, which are US domain.

Would we be able to manage these through the same virtual controller? And for that matter, would there be any benefit in doing so?

Also, what about Airwave? Could we manage China devices through an Airwave server in the US? We are currently managing their Cisco devices in IMC.

If two access points are not in the same country, they should not be in the same country, and be in different clusters.  A virtual controller can only manage access points in the same cluster.  Airwave can manage Instant access points in different clusters and in different countries.
