Controllerless Networks

I have a question about licensing in master/local cluster.

I have two controllers, and decide to do active/active mode with centralized license model.

I have 200 APs, and 200 licenses.

What will happens when one of controllers will be failed?

Can APs from failed controller reregister to last one, or license count is not enough to do that?

Or it is better to do active/standby mode?

Then all APs registered on local controller.

If Master will be failed all APs continued to work next 30 days (or till first Local controller reload?).

If Local will be failed all APs will go to Master.

Right?

Yes, as long as you have centralised licensing enabled, if you have 200 licenses and 200 AP's, when one the controllers goes down, the other one will take over the reamining APs (please be careful, as the controller needs to support the total amount of AP's). Regarding licensing, you won't have any issues.

If both controllers are in the same network what is best to do - active/active with fast failover, or just active/standby?

Controllers are 7205 - they should support this APs amount.

Those controllers do support that amount of AP's, yes (up to 256).

It depends on your network architecture but looks like a master/local being the master able to terminate AP's could be a good scenario.
