Caidas de AP

Buenos días.

 

Tengo un problema bastante raro.

 

Se me caen constantemente los AP, y no paran de levantarse y caerse. Lo unico que he visto en claro es:

 

2014-05-02 06:40:12 Access point d8:c7:c8:cd:e6:1f is down
2014-05-02 06:40:12 AP d8:c7:c8:cd:e6:1f has changed. Change type is 2

Alguna idea?

please get us the output of:

 

show ap debug system-status ap-name <name> 

 

the above command has to be executed when the AP is back up. Also check the show profile errors to see any VLAN missing or any other errors.

Hi there! thx for your quick reply.

 

I attach the fail_ap.txt it's the output of show ap debug system-status ap-name

 

and with the show profile-errors i got nothing. no errors found.

Podrias generar estos commands:

 

show ap debug system-status ap-name <apname> 

show log system all | include <ap mac>

show ap debug counters | include <apname>

 

 

Estos commands te van a dar un poco mas detalle por que el AP esta tiendo problemas contactando al controller.

 

Podrian ser varios problemas:

- Layer 1 , problemas con el cable 

- Algun problema en el puerto o switch donde el AP esta conectado

- Fijate que tengas suficiente AP licenses en el controller

Buenas!

 

Me pasaba con 80ap que tengo en mi network.

 

El tema es que mi infraestructura se basa en 2 controladores redundantes.

 

Al quitar el "Local" y dejar solo el "master". La infraestructura no se cae.

 

Está solucionado, pero no se el motivo por el que al conectar el 2 controlador toda mi infraestructura cae.

Como tienes la redundancia de los controllers establecida :

- VRRP

- LMS

 

Es posible que estes notando esto por que los APs estan tiendo problemas contactando unos de los controllers y luego se van al otro

I  agree with Victor. 

 

Check if your VRRP is flapping.

Estoy de acuerdo con Victor,

 

Algo parecido me paso a mi y la configuracion era master - standby master el problema que tenia era que al hacer failover uno del otro el standby no tenia suficientes licencias y varios AP's se reiniciaban...  

Recuerda tambien mirar si tienes suficientes licencias de AP's y de LIC-PEFNG recuerda que el AP requiere 2 licencias para poder funcionar..

 

- Si el AP sigue reiniciandoce intenta purgarlo (purge)

 

- Conecta el AP otra vez y espera que el controlador aplique la configuracion

 

- Desde el CLI escribe "clear gap-db ap-name xxx" donde xxx es el nombre del AP que esta caido..

 

- Si lo quieres hacer desde el web.. (GUI) click on Monitoring > All Access Points > Clear (a la derecha mira el AP que quieres remover).
