I am having issues with the integration of Airwatch and Cleapass, both are On-Prem solutions and the all the information shows up from Airwatch except the hostname Column, has anyone exerianced this?I running Airwatch 7.3 and Cleapass 6.4

There is a role set for Full API integration on the Airwatch side and all attributes are default on Aruba.

The hostname field is not one of the fields that is carried over from Airwatch.  If you have a helper address from that user VLAN pointing to ClearPass, it will obtain the hostname from the client's DHCP request and populate it.

Does the VLAN only need to be present on the Controller with the Helper address and not on Clearpass?

To follow up we have 3 VLANS and only one has the Helper address for all the devices using DHCP on that VLAN.

Out of the 3 VLANS we only have one with a helper on the controller.

The layer 3 VLAN interface that your handheld devices are on needs a helper address pointing at clearpass.  It can be a secondary helper address that points at clearpass in addition to your original one that points at your DHCP server.  That will be enough to possibly populate the hostname into clearpass.

Thanks, we have a Layer 3 VLAN for all of our Corp Devices which is the only one that has the helper address, we also have a layer 2 VLAN which is the one pointing to the Clearpass servers, so i am assuming we also need a helper address for that as well?

you ONLY need an additional helper address on the subnet of the devices that need to be profiled.  That helper address should point to the clearpass server.

To follow-up we added the IP helper Address on the L2 VLAN pointing to Clearpass, the L3 Helper is only pointing to DHCP, are you saying that we can also creater an IP Helper pointing to clearpass on top of the ip helper for DHCP for the L3 VLAN for any devices on the L3 VLAN to populate the hostname?
