APs reboot after new config file sent

Q: I've got IOS APs, and I've configured AMP to not reboot them after I send a new config file to them. But I can tell by the devices' uptime that they're being rebooted. Why?

A: If you tell AMP to not reboot, we'll never issue a reboot command. However, there are some known IOS issues that AMP has no control over and can cause the devices to reboot, including this:

Access Point Crashes When Removing TACACS Server

Symptom:
Access point may crash when adding and removing TACACS servers in the CLI.

Conditions:
This issue is observed in 12.3(7)JA1 and 12.3(7)JA2, and was fixed in 12.3(8)JA.

Workaround:
Use RADIUS instead of TACACS or
Remove the command
aaa accounting commands 15 default start-stop group tac_admin
