Ethernet Bonding config on AMP running Centos > 6.0

Aruba Employee

Airwave running CentOS > 6.0

The configuration process is very similar to Centos 5.5 but Centos 6 does not have /etc/modeprobe.conf

  1. Do not create a file /etc/modeporbe.conf
  2. Create a file  /etc/modeprobe.d/bonding.conf
  3. Put the contents of /etc/modeporbe.conf as specified in the KB link below in /etc/modeprobe.d/bonding.conf

The remaining steps are the same as specified in the KB below which helps configure etherchannel bonding for Centos < 6
