How Does RAPIDS get rogue data from Cisco IOS APs?

Jun 10, 2014 11:06 PM

IOS APs do not put rogue information in their mibs, so the AMP is not able to get this data during snmp polling. AMP can get the rogue data from the Wireless LAN Solution Engine, or WLSE. The WLSE gets its data from APs which are configured in the WDS hierarchy.

For more information on this, see the knowledgebase articles on setting up and troubleshooting WDS.
