How to get sharper, more clearly defined images in VisualRF when importing DWG files

Plot the drawing in AutoCAD at 300dpi gray scale as a JPG, then print the drawing to a PDF creator printer driver --there are several PDF creator applications available athttp://sourceforge.net.

In a future version of AWMS we will allow you to crop the DWG image before it is converted to a JPG, creating a crisper image in VisualRF.

When you say "plot the drawing ... as a JPG" then print to "a PDF creator printer driver"

 

Why convert to JPG at all? 

 

Couldn't a way be found to allow import of PDF or SVG -- in other words, vector graphics -- which would be perfect in terms of image quality sharpness?
