How to monitor a CPPM cluster via Airwave

Q:

I have a cluster of 16 CPPM nodes. What is the best way to monitor all the nodes via Airwave



A:

SNMP configuration is a server specific configuration, so it must be updated on all the nodes.

 

Steps - From CPPM webUI : 

Under - Administration » Server Manager » Server Configuration - Select the server and update the SNMP config under System Monitoring tab.

 

 

 

 

Once we have the snmp configuration in place, we will have to manually add each node manually as a new CPPM device to Airwave.

 

Alternatively network scan  option can be used to discover all active devices in that subnet.
