How to reset the VisualRF to factory default (Meaning, deleting all the db entries of visualRF)

Apr 09, 2015 10:09 AM

Below are the commands to delete all the contents of visualRF and making it factory default

from airwave CLI:

# amp_disable
# bootstrap_vrf_db
# amp_enable

Note: This command will be very helpful, for customers doing lab testing on VisualRF and want to redeploy everything on VisualRF for any reason. This command will flush all the data and DB of VisualRF, by making it factory default. However, the AMP configuration would be unchanged. Be sure to export the visualRF backup before running this command as a fallback plan. please find the steps below to take the visualRF backup first (If needed)

1. Navigate to VisualRF on AMP GUI.
2. Right click on the campus, to click on Export floor plans.
3. Check the Network to export all the campuses and buildings, click ok to export.
4. We will get a popup to save the backup.zip.
