What are the per AP configurations that can be done on the AMP server for Aruba Instant APs?

This article explains the enhancement related to per AP configuration on the AMP server on IAP OS version 6.1.3.4-3.1.

 

Per-AP settings such as AP name, IP Address, AP mode, ARM configurations and external antenna configurations can now be done from AMP server.

 

 

Environment : This article applies to all the IAP running a minimum OS version of 6.1.3.4-3.1. Any version prior to this does not have these features.

 

  1. Navigate to Aps/Devices->list and click on the device you want to edit.

  2. Aps/Devices->Manage.
Edit the settings for the selected IAP.
Save and apply the settings.

The per-AP settings result can be checked in the configuration audit page of the VC
