    Hello

     

    I'm trying to perform a root password recovery on an Airwave virtual appliance, but unable to get it working.

    The attached screenshot shows why:

    "passwd: Authentication token manipulation error"

     

    I've found a number of posts on various sites in regards to this error on CentOS, but neither of those solutions have solved my problem. 

     

    Anyone here encountered similiar situation?
