    Hello,

my nightly backup failed 8 days ago, the error message was:

I read that I should take a look at the logs in /var/log/nightly_maintenance and /var/log/nightly_backup.

I can find the maintenance log while clicking through the web interface, but I couldn't find the backup log.

Can you tell me how to get access to this mysterious logfile?

It looks like in the hardening of the CLI, that log is not exposed.  There's a defect in the backlog to show it.  At this time, you'd have to open a support case for support to use their support access to get to that log.

What if there was no defect? How/Where could I see the log?

It's not currently exposed, so support has to go in with the support account to copy it to the folder that shows up in the download files view.  Of they could just look at it while they're in the system.

The defect (DE31375) is to specifically show the log on System -> Status, and also add it to the diagnostics tarball.

If you maintained a root CLI access, then it'd be in the old /var/log/ location where all logs go.
