    Hi All,

I have purchased an Aruba 2540 switch for a client that requires it to be used for DHCP.

I have upgraded firmware to 16.5 (latest) and the spec sheets show it supports DHCPv4 but I’m not able to see DHCP option in the GUI which is odd seeing as most online guides show it.

I’ve downloaded the configuration guide from HP using the CLI to setup a DHCP pool. GUI shows the config file with DHCP enabled and the configuration for the pool.

Do I need to assign the pool to default VLAN as at present no IP’s are being broadcast.

Any help appreciated, as I’m somewhat stumped!

Configuration document from Hpe definitely says this switch has DHCP server v4.

I’ll try and add an IP address to VLAN.
